1992
Darryl Armstrong is hired as apparel manager by Nike retail He was responsible for staff management and merchandisi within the Nike Factory store in Calhoun Georgia.
Darryl Armstrong takes an acti role in the community by attending career days at local elementary schools and sponsoring one sports team.
1995
Armstrong is promoted to Apparel Manager at Nike Town Atlanta. Eight months later, he becomes a Regional Merchandiser within the Southern Region. In this role, his key accounts included the University of Tennessee, World Footlocker, and Follets, University of Georgia’s bookstore and Walters.
1996
Darryl and a team of national and regional merchandisers create a giant retail selling space for millions of visitors at the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
1998
Darryl Armstrong starts his first merchandising company. Armstrong Marketing LLC. His team produced promotional apparel and items for the annual McDonald’s Heritage Bowl.
1999
Darryl Armstrong sharpens his merchandising efforts and becomes the promotional product producer for Radio One’s Hip Hop station Hot 97.5FM, Infinity Broadcasting’s station V-103.3FM, and Citizens Trust Bank.
2001
Armstrong Marketing, LLC produces the promotional products for a National Seagram’s Gin Campaign and sponsors the Quicksilver Track Club of Atlanta.
2000
Armstrong Marketing, LLC lands Delta Air Lines as a client, producing 3,000 t-shirts and posters with a 3-day turn around for Delta Airlines’, “Back to Our Future with Delta’s DC-3/Ship 41” event.Darryl Armstrong volunteers with the Black Pilots Program at Delta Airlines.
Armstrong Marketing, LLC acquires the Hank Aaron Automotive Group as a client.
Armstrong Marketing, LLC produces merchandising items for a National Sprite Campaign.
2002
Armstrong Marketing, LLC produces promotional shirts and hats for the Paramount Film Drum Line.
2003
Wendy’s and Coors become clients of Armstrong Marketing, LLC.
2004
Armstrong Marketing, LLC acquires a 20,000 square foot building and names the facility Armstrong USA.
Armstrong Marketing, LLC becomes the promotional product supplier for all sixty-seven Radio One Stations, nationwide.
The Armstrong Marketing, LLC team produces products for special events like Radio One’s Spring Fest, The Atlanta Jazz Festival and the movie The Seat Filler.
2006
Armstrong Marketing, LLC produces promotional t-shirts and sets up mobile retail functionality for the premiere of John Singleton’s critically acclaimed film Hustle and Flow.
Armstrong Marketing, LLC produces merchandise for the first Atlanta Fat Burger store, and produces Fat Burger t-shirts that are featured on HBO’s Training Camp.
2007
Armstrong Marketing, LLC designs t-shirts that appear on MTV’s Sweet Sixteen.
2009
Armstrong Marketing, LLC restructures to become EZ Brand USA, LLC with the mission to become a full-service, diversified promotional marketing company specializing in the design and development of innovative, high-impact promotional products and programs.
2010
EZ Brand USA creates a suite of branding services including the development of toys, premiums, promotional print packaging, games and sweepstakes.
EZ Brand USA begins doing business with the Atlanta Braves.
2011
EZ Brand USA becomes one of the few companies in Georgia to source and produce 10,000 custom replica Atlanta Braves Jerseys.
EZ Brand USA receives the Most Valuable Business Partner award from the Atlanta Braves and Major League on Jackie Robinson Day April 15, 2011.
Darryl Armstrong and his company are featured in the Atlanta Tribune Magazine 2011 Salute to Minority Business.
2012
EZ Brand USA and partners begin developing integrated marketing solutions to include loyalty, licensing, market research and manufacturing.
